Downhole Fishing & Milling Tool, Taper Mill for Repairing Deformed Fish Tops
Taper mill is mainly used to repair deformed fish tops or trim the burrs and flashes caused by the beading and perforation caused by the various tools at the couplings during the drilling process, and clean the mineral crystals and other minerals retained on the well wall, hard debris, etc., to restore the size of the diameter.
The taper mill use its alloy on the cone to mill the crystals and other impurities retained on the inner wall of the casing. The cylindrical part has the effect of centralizing. The junk is returned to the ground by the flushing fluid.
